We are Stahl- und Apparatebau Hans Leffer GmbH & Co. KG - a family-run steel and apparatus engineering company with a long tradition and a great spirit of innovation. Since 1946, we have been successfully operating internationally from our headquarters in Saarbrücken/Dudweiler. As a company, LEFFER represents quality, reliability and customized solutions in the fields of apparatus engineering, mechanical engineering, steel construction and industrial assembly. With a workforce of around 500 dedicated employees, we supply notable customers in fields such as chemicals and petrochemicals, power generation and supply, as well as the food, construction and steel manufacturing industries.

Customized projects instead of mass production

LEFFER does not manufacture standard products - we realize unique and challenging projects for our customers worldwide. Thus, we are currently building the world's most powerful casing machine for pile foundations. Along with several other in-house Leffer machines and tools, this machine was used to build numerous high-rise buildings in Hong Kong. Furthermore, we manufactured the tanks for a huge underwater compressor station off the coast of Australia, which were installed 1,500 meters below the water's surface and secure a large part of the gas requirements of Japan and South Korea. Such projects are just one part of our success story, which we continue to write every day with the highest levels of precision, quality and innovation.
