 In order to ensure consistently high quality of our products, these are subjected to nondestructive testing (NDT). NDT is also used to optimize fabrication (e.g. welding techniques). The radiographic (RT), ultrasonic (UT), magnetic particle (MT), and liquid penetrant (PT) methods are primarily applied. In addition advanced UT methods, e.g. TOFD or Phased Array can be applied on customer request. This testing is almost exclusively performed with our own equipment and by our own personnel. For radiography we have direct and panoramic radiation equipment ranging from 160keV to 450keV. Our NDE operators are double qualified and certified in accordance with EN 473 / ISO 9712 (Level 2 and 3) as well as SNT-TC-1A (Level II and III). |
